WINES Programme
EPSRC Wired and Wireless Intelligent Networked Systems (WINES) Programme
A research manifesto produced by the UK-Ubinet management committee and EPSRC ICT Strategic Advisory Team resulted in the EPSRC WINES Program in 2004. For details of the manifesto please click here.
The first EPSRC call for research consortia outline proposals in the area of Wired and Wireless Intelligent Networked Systems (WINES) can be found here.
In response to the various proposals, seven multi-disciplanary projects were funded in the first call that was announced in 2004 - most projects started in October 2005. The second round of EPSRC WINES call were announced in 2006. There may be a 3rd round call in 2007. If you are registered on the UK-UbiNet mail list, you will receive an announcement about the call and any other relevant calls.
