DSE Wiki Help Pages

Welcome to the DSE Wiki, which is implemented using the MoinMoin wiki application. The following points provide a quick start point for those new to Wikis:

• User accounts: You can edit/add pages to the Wiki by logging in with your DoC username/password. See HelpOnEditing and HelpOnPageCreation for more information on how to edit and create pages.

• Controlling Access: MoinMoin provides the ability to specify access control lists to limit what users can do with a given page. The deafult ACL for the DSE site allows anyone to view pages and users listed on the UserGroup page to edit pages. See HelpOnAccessControlLists for more information on how to use this feature.

• Accessing Publication Lists: If you insert the macro ShowPublicationsUser(USERNAME, N, [GroupByType]) in a Wiki page (using the text editor), this will generate a list of publications, of length N, for the user called USERNAME. The GroupByType parameter is optional and if specified will cause the list to be grouped by the publication type.
